Get Derby Ready!
Derby fashion has always been noteworthy for its head gears and the subsequent dressing always drew inspiration from the ones that were worn. From eccentric hats to sophisticated style, it was a mandatory fashion element at the races. Advocated by one and all, it soon became a fashion stereotype.
I had a lot of fun recently at the Ultra Indian Derby organised by Kingfisher world at the Mahalaxmi race course. It was a day filled with a lot of fun vibes and to top it, I was totally high on fashion. I had a complete OOTD moment and monochromatic binge at the Derby event. I decided to go very high street chic and casual and dropped the whole notion of pairing hats as a compulsion.
My derby looks were young and vibrant, filled with an audacious choice of dressing in which i could spend an entire day and relax. My first look comprised of a tutu skirt and a printed v-neck top, which i paired with my peep toe boots and Balenciaga handbag. Also, I accessorised with my favourite pair of hexagon shades.
My second look was a flared black palazzo pant with a high waist knot, layered with a high cowl neck printed top. I loved how super casual yet chic I felt and I could definitely let my hair down and have a whole lot of easy fun!
