Review: CANON 1300D
Never had I imagined that photography would be such a big part of my life, I come from a fashion background and back in college I only had one module on photography where we learnt only the basics.
Cut to 2017, its now become on of the most important aspects of my career. As much as I love working with some of my favourite photographers, I have now started to feel the need to be able to take a good photo on my own, without being dependent on their availability all the time.
So when I got my hands on the Canon 1300D, goes without saying that it made creating content so much easier and a lot more fun.
Look and Feel:
As bloggers, we have to carry so much stuff around, and most of us would image a DSLR to be pretty heavy and inconvenient to carry, the Canon 1300D is surprisingly lightweight which is why I now never leave home without it.
There’s nothing that makes me happier than to be able to shoot my own content, transfer it to my phone and post it on my social media in real time. Thank to the in built wifi feature, I’m now able to do exactly that. Not to mention the ease of transferring data without the use of annoying wires and adapters.
Creating videos isn’t as complicated for me as it used to be. I can shoot short clips on my Canon 1300D and simply stitch it altogether on my phone or laptop as I go.
For me, taking pictures in low light is my biggest nightmare. Grainy yellowish pictures will never make it to my blog or Instagram. This camera fares pretty well in low light conditions. The auto white balance feature makes sure your whites appear white and not yellow.
Needless to say it’s the perfect entry level camera for all you photography enthusiasts or aspiring bloggers. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am.
