Our Favourite Looks From NYFW SS18

This fashion capital never fails or disappoints. With Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma burning up the runway and Coach’s ultimate resurgence, it has indeed been an eventful week. LOAB takes you through it’s favourite outfits, beauty looks and details that were absolutely irresistible!

ALEXANDER WANG- The cowgirl dream injected into the cityscape is just what we need. Not to ever be forgotten is how magically the “party animals” glided across NY streets this season!

ANNA SUI- The designer very gracefully managed to bring back the hippie scene on the runway- even had Gigi float on the runway in ONE shoe!

AREA- If I could, I would pick them all! This particular purple number has our hearts racing.

BAJA EAST- Effortless, comfortable and ever-so chic, the label got all the point on our checklist for the perfect New York summer.

BIBHU MOHAPATRA- Feminine, delicate and beautiful- Mohapatra’s silhouettes are a refreshing step back into a little magical land of Eden.

BRANDON MAXWELL- Bringing out the diva in all women strong and fabulous, is this to-die-for black trail top. Who thought a top and jeans could look this good on the runway?

CALVIN KLEIN- Too chic, too clean, too good to be true- nothing to match the effortless style of Calvin Klein.

CAROLINA HERRERA- I’d change my name if this neon flower clad gown doesn’t make an appearance on at least one red carpet!

COACH 1941- The disco vibe has transcended into an unparalleled universe of style with this look. WE LOVE EVERY SQUARE INCH OF IT!

CUSHNIE ET OCHS- This embroidered bustier attached to the timeless black pants are what one-piece dreams are made of. Can’t wait to spot one of the Kardashians in it!

DELPOZO- Eva Chen approves this gown as an “Emmy must-see” and we’re backing her up. How beautiful is that silver trail?!

DVF- Mamma Mia! Those pants are pulling me right out of my seat and right into a flight to Paris!

FENTY x PUMA- Bringing biker chicks and sexy cyclers to the ramp is only something Riri can pull off so well. Her reputation precedes her and to nobody’s surprise, the collection was an absolute hit.

GABRIEL HEARST- Timeless pantsuits brought back in Millennial Pink is not everyone’s cup of tea but the label made it look effortless!

JEREMY SCOTT- The hero of balance comes back with another bang! There was colour, there was print, there was leather and buns, there were even little stars under their eyes. Can’t imagine seeing a better put together show.

MARCHESSA- The beauty of cherry blossom coming alive on tulle couldn’t be achieved better than this. Marchessa has successfully handcrafted the most beautiful gowns with its SS18 collection.

MK- Can we take a minute to appreciate the flip flops making their way on the runway?! And hello, we finally have a fancy fix to all those pool party outfit problems!

MONSE- This sequin number is giving my basketball dreams such a strong pair of wings. Can’t wait to see JLo in one of these at her next game!

NAEEM KHAN- “Do sexy with grace and don’t forget the floral touch” seems to be the only way to go for this Indian-American designer. We are in full support!

OSCAR DE LA RENTA- Sorry, have you ever seen candy pink and red sequin in the same photo and still had it take your heart away? The designer duo behind Monse bring a fanatic surprise to the runway with this sparkly collection!

PHILLIP PLEIN- Feeling badass today? Take a look at this stunning black model in this stunning white outfit and tell me your heart isn’t going “YOU GO GIRL!”.

PRABAL GURANG- I’m not sure if it’s the wine colour latex or the overall vibe of this outfit that makes me want every piece of it!!

TORY BURCH- There’s a certain aura around moss green, one that is superseded when it’s played with in suede! We love everything about this ever-so-subtle collection, with just the right amount of ease.

VICTORIA BECKHAM- What’s not to love about the mints, the pencil skirts, and the timeless pantsuits?! One of each please.

ZIMMERMAN- Cannot get over the chic, cowgirl vibe to this outfit. Zimmerman is taking New York into a different zone with this collection!
