13 Bugs Approved Picks At The Enchanted Garden 2017
2017’s Enchanted Garden was the perfect excuse for us to escape to Kolkata. Interestingly, stepping foot inside the visually stunning setting at P.C Chandra garden not only brought back a couple of memories from last year but we also felt that the curators Paridhi and Abhishek exceeded all our expectations and aced it. Their tasteful take on the color theme, subtle
lighting and even the mystical installations etc. further enhanced the beauty of the entire space. Apart from this engaging luxury carnival, the talented two also curate pop up’s such as Chor Bazaar, Fuss and each of their properties have a distinctive concept running through. Moving on, the extraordinary exhibits usually has an ever-changing line up of exhibitors
who come seamlessly together at the venue. And this time was no different. In addition to artfully curated fashion, beauty, home accessories, lifestyle products and other things we didn’t know we needed, they also offered mouth-watering food, music, drinks and family fun which was enough to keep everyone’s spirits bright. With umpteen exhibition goers over the
weekend, this edition had 126 stalls which included a couple of celebrated labels like Outhouse, Pero, etc. whose collections left us wanting more. More importantly, their unique labels with organic or recycled designs totally lived up to their promise of being our go-to spot for quirky and cool pieces that gets everyone asking, ‘Where’d you get that?”
Here are a few of our favorite finds…
To showcase vibrant artwork, this carnival had a live art station and in the Farmers market section, we came across pastries, spiced cocktails etc. which were to die for. Throughout the two days, drones captured all the live action at the garden. And during the evenings, this massive outdoor setup would transform into an entertaining party with artist’s performing and music soothing enough for the soul.
In all honesty, what makes Enchanted Garden unmissable is that year on year they are raising the bar, big time by looking into the nitty gritties of the exhibit so as to create an interesting experience for all. Over and above that, their irresistible pieces in every corner virtually guarantee that you won’t be leaving empty-handed.
All of this and more is reason enough for you to put it on your list of exhibits to hit every December.
