Biggest of the lot: Milan Fashion Week

We looked through New York, we transcended to London and then came the big bang- Milan! Each week has only gotten bigger and better, so this time we decided to give you three picks from each designer. Must we add, it was really difficult to pick JUST three!

ALBERTA FERRETTI

Metallics really did make a grand comeback on the runway this season, and for all the right reasons! We’re drooling over these fierce greek goddesses turning into boss ladies.

BOTTEGA VENETA

Have double pockets looked this sexy, ever before? We think not! Need each of these outfits from head to toe, IMMEDIATELY!

DOLCE AND GABBANA

Here come the queens. A little bit of Andy Warhol met with the regular D&G regal drama for this SS18 presentation and we couldn’t be more thrilled. If you look closely, the shoes with the embellished playsuit can easily pass off as juttis!

EMILIO PUCCI

Take us to the beach right away! Easy, breezy and super sexy- these four words pretty much sum up this uber chic collection.

ETRO

The white dream! So many beautiful prints and texture come together on a brand new canvas for Etro, this season. Powerful and beautiful all at the same time.

FENDI

It was almost impossible to pick from the fifty one sheer genius pieces from Fendi. We’re seriously considering selling off everything we own to slip into one of these even just for a day!

GEORGIO ARMANI

Another couple of metallic numbers getting our hearts racing! Such a sweet mix of colours coming together as bold and badass- this is definitely one of our favourite collections!

GUCCI

Bringing back the 90’s? YES, PLEASE. We’d love to borrow this vibe some time soon. And those original Elton John space jackets just kinda took us on a trip of a lifetime!

MAX MARRA

SS18 brought many things to our attention but a little shoutout to the underdog colours- Brown and Lavender found their way into our hearts, in sheer this season.

MISSONI

If anyone knows how to do solid colour knits, it’s none other than Missoni. Bright and pastel all put into a mix for one of the most drool-worthy collections they’ve ever put together.

MOSCHINO

Feathers, flamingoes and fishnet came together to create a very, very chic havoc on the runway.

NO. 21

Hands down, one of the most versatile collections- from lace, to sheer, to pleats to leather, it was all there and it was all brilliant. And, how beautiful was that colour transition?!

PRADA

A super-fun, eclectic collection completely inspired by illustrations and cartoons. It truly is like being in a time machine, on our way back to the 90’s. Childhood dreams meet Prada dreams. YAAS!

FAUSTO PUGLISI

Another white dream- this one is more of a struggle play between “I’m gonna kill it today!” and “Can i just stay in and chill today?!”

SALVATORE FERRAGAMO

What a pastel dream- the combination of croc leather and satin, who would have thought it could turn out so great?! We’ll tell you who did- Fulvio Rigoni! A LITTLE BIRDY JUST TOLD US THEY WALKED ON GLASS?!

TODS

It’s safe to say that this was one of the best collections at Milan- understated brilliance! Someone please get us a pair of those fringed loafers ASAP!!

VERSACE

What a way to remember Gianni Versace and wrap up MFW- Donatella really shut it down! The reminiscence of his love for the baroque period peeked through the “women of power” silhouettes and the world came to its knees! A special shoutout to the original supermodels who came back to wrap up this memorable show.
