20 Must Have Holiday Looks For 2018
If you’ve been following me, you’ll know I travel at the drop off a hat without much time in hand to prep. Which is why I’ve learned to manage and be well equipped with packable pieces for my holiday capsule wardrobe. So here’s a run-down of a few of my favorite picks which could easily serve up as your ultimate outfit inspiration for your upcoming vacation.
#1 A white, airy long dress is enough to get me ready for a seaside adventure. Perfect for a billowy look, it’s easy to pack, totally versatile and with my earrings and ring it lends boho vibes too.
#2 No tropical escape is complete without a playful outfit. Which is why, my striped mini teamed with a pair of bright sneakers works just as well on and off the beach.
#3 Usher in that island state of mind with my romper that’s equal parts practical and playful. Not only did it double up as a cover-up while I was soaking up rays but was also perfect for my late night strolls.
#4 Cocktails on the beach call for zero effort dressing with an easy breezy vibe, and my metallic camisole over denim shorts layered with a khaki long jacket with flatforms look more than delivers.
#5 I’m a sucker for beach-bound looks, so you can imagine how easy it was for me to layer my scene-stealing swimsuit with a denim shirt and add a rope belt that was cinched at my waist.
#6 My silk and satin pajama knotted shirt over denim’s with my bracelet and high heels look is everything a break within the city should be: bright, effortless and chic.
#7 A break outside the city calls for a fuss-free look. That’s why my striped linen jacket over wide-legged bottoms make for a winning combination which is perfect for chilling indoors or outdoors.
#8 If sweatshirts are your thing, then the purple one will be right up your alley. Teamed with denim’s and open back loafers, my outfit can easily be your go-to for a laid-back lunch scene.
#9 Nothing says leisurewear more than linen anything, so for me, my loose top over wide-legged pants and easy flats look is a staycation must have for that perfect afternoon spent frolicking in the sun.
#10 Looking to score some serious style points on the streets? Consider adding denim shorts to your staycation packing list. When worn with a loose shirt, my pair started to take on a whole new vibe – one that’s cool and comfortable.
#11 Who wouldn’t a love co-ord set that’s subtle and sexy, all at once? Its fabric, color, and fit have my vote and heart! Plus, its guaranteed to leave you feeling confident as you stroll across your liner while cruising the high seas.
#12 Channelling a luxe feel reminiscent of the 90’s, my velvet black co-ords set has got to find its way into your suitcase as it works for an elegant evening dinner on the moonlit deck.
#13 Adding a cozy sweater to your holiday wardrobe is like infusing it with a versatile, cool piece. Dress it up with leather pants, a statement handbag and you’re good to go for a pre or post dinner martini scene.
#14 If my sequins blazer worn over a knotted tee look for a night at the casino on board doesn’t say ‘girls got game’ then I don’t know what does?
#15 Who knew my pastel dress over ankle boots look with that carefree vibe could give some major cruise holiday feels? P.S Wear a cool swimsuit underneath for some random pool adventurous.
#16 Ah! A studded leather jacket is inescapable. This staple is everything winter destination dressing dreams are made up off. Whether styled over a t-shirt dress or jumpsuit, it can do no wrong!
#17 I’m all for switching up my look. But when I take a break from my black leather jacket and still wanna make a statement, it’s this silver colored luxe leather jacket which comes to my rescue. P.S – It can be virtually paired with anything.
#18 Get spotted from a mile away with my plaid trenchcoat layered over a bright knit, denim’s, kicks and sunglasses look. Apart from giving a cool girl athleisure vibe, it’s jam-packed with edgy urban glamour.
#19 Its hard to hate on winter weather when you’ve got a sleeveless coat with cotton candy pockets in your holiday wardrobe. I’ve worn mine over denim overalls with cowboy boots and added a beenie to end my look on a playful note.
#20 When it comes to piling on layers, I’ve played with textures and proportions here to combat winter weather without bulking up by wearing a high neck top under a t-shirt dress and jacket.
